Guinness World Record Ceremony
Twitch CEO Dan Clancy (representing Twitch leadership) presented Kai Cenat with the Guinness World Record plaque on stream, officially recognizing him as the most-subscribed streamer in Twitch history.
Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 ran from September 1 to 30, 2025, in which he streamed continuously in a “subathon” format (where new subs extend the stream).
On September 28, he became the first Twitch creator to surpass 1,000,000 active paid subscribers—a historic milestone.
The event also featured high-profile celebrity guests: Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Ed Sheeran, Linkin Park, and many others.
Along with the subscriber goal, Cenat pledged to build a new school in the Makoko community (Nigeria) and announced that 15% of the event’s revenue would go toward that cause.
